    Hi.
the last 3 or 4 days when i release the clutch slightly and the jeep starts to move
i hear a sound from the bellhousing area like something is grinding in there and not every time i release the clutch.
I also heard the same noise but less often when the engine is running without gear.
I think is the throw out bearing but i was also thinking if there is some kind of broblem in the bearing retainer(loose bolts) of the input shaft.
The tranny is a t18 mated to a pinto engine with pinto bellhousing.
What do you thing it is.

TO Bearing is just that, a bearing. Sometimes it will howel and sometimes it will just ping a little. Will make different sounds. And yes your english is very good. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Maybe others will chime in later..

:) Yes your english is good. If properly adjusted the TO bearing should not be spinning unless the clutch pedal is depressed enough to make it engage. If it only makes noise when you push on the clutch pedal then there is a good chance it is the TO bearing making noise.

Well as i can see the TO bearing is not spinning and i only hear the sound most of the times when i release the clutch and not when i press it.
I'm using this set up 4 years now. When i did the mod i could also hear that time the same thing.
So i took the engine out and i found out that the bolts of the bearing reatiner of the input shaft where loose.
Never tighten them enough i don't know. After that never hear anything again until now.
Maybe i have to take the engine out again find out.
