1971 CJ5 Steering column

    I just bought a 1971 cj5 it has a steering column from an old ford. That column does not fit well. I would like to replace it with a tilt or original column any suggestions on what fits best? Thanks for any help.

    I'd suggest taking some pics for us. Since it's already been changed, the question best or easiest may depend on what's been done to the dash and floor to make the current one fit. There are several options to choose from.:v6:
