I thought I would pick everyones braines on what kind of lift springs they like? I want my 66 cj-6 to clear 33 inch 9.50 or 10.5 tires. A 3 or 4" would probably ne neccesary. What manufactures offer a good spring with good flex for reasonable price? Thank You.

I put 2 1/2" Skyjacker Softrides on mine and love them. Theyre very flexy and would probably clear narrow 33s on their own. I run 12.50x33s on mine with a 2" body lift to keep the t-18 tucked up. One last thing, i got 4 1/2" of lift out of a 2 1/2" lift because my original springs were saggy, as most stockers are.:)

    Good luck with it, Glenn

Pretty extensively covered here in the past, probably even last week or yesterday. :D

    33" tires only require a 2" lift.

Thanks for your opinion. I wasn't here in the past , just last week. I was hoping to get a little more feedback. I just haven't been around long enough to know the obvious. Thanks Again.

Follow this link, scroll down to a picture of mine. They are 33 x 10.50, with a 2.5 inch lift. It does have a 1 inch body lift and longer shackles, but with stock shackles there is still plenty of room for the tires. And yes, do a search for lift springs and you'll find a lot of discussion on it.
