I am very fortunate that I recently married a Jeep girl who doesn't have a problem with me aquiring new Jeep projects. I am also very fortunate to part of this board so if I ask if you think I have a problem you responde honestly and tell me NO! O.K. My step son wanted to race stockcars and the owner of a junkyard that sponsored my stockcars(pre-Jeep days) gave him a Monte SS to build but the kid didn't want to work on it, he wanted me to build it for him...so after 14 months I loaded it up and took it back to the guy(my wife has not been happy about this being in the yard). At the yard we unload it from my trailer and the owner of the junkyard says "hang on and we'll load your Jeep"...my Jeep??? mmmmm...Jeeeeppppp.....so out I go with him and he picks up a '46 CJ2A that has a Pinto engine conversion(it's got that Ford Weber carb deal on it). I can see the frame is broken and both rear leaf springs. The body looks better than some I've seen redone on here(and its got one of those cool old heaters in it!) and I've thought that a Ford 2300 swap would be cool in a Jeep. Just look here http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53417 or here http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60069... see it's those guys fault, not mine! So anyways...now we have Jeep number 10(not including parts Jeeps, which is what the guy intended this to be)...and I know where there are a couple of 2A and 3A frames.....so..ahhh...you guys don't think I have a problem...do you??? Now I just have to live to be 125 years old to complete all the projects...

KMan, No, no problem. You like me have a great wife! A fondness for old Willys and Jeeps is not a problem, just an opertunity!! Good luck on your "new" project. Matt W.
