    If I remember right the 2Gc is the auto choke version of the manual choke model that is on the Dauntless.

    That's minor IMO if the base works, I've got two or three of those linkages laying around. :D

    Looking at the image though if it's accurate, it looks the same.

    Okay back after the Jeep today. Turns out I have a Holley 2 barrel 500cfm carb on there (4412s). Not sure but I'm thinking 500cfm is way too big for this motor. Any thoughts and anyone know what the 2G's CFM rating was?

    You only need ~200 CFM for a 225 in a Jeep.

    http://www.buicks.net/shop/reference/carb_cfm.htm 300 is on the upper end of things.
