looked up the VIN on my Jeep.. comes up as a CJ-5... title has the model listed as a "Jeepster"..

    I'm thinking a mistake.. since a Jeepster looks nothing like a Cj-5..lol..

there's a lot of "discrepancies" over the years on these old Jeeps. The DMV insisted that I was missing #'s on my vin when I was regeistering.

Illinois titles all similar vehicles as carryall under model. They did the same on my old samurai and my neighbors 04 jeep is the same.

My Jeepster is insured as a CJ5, guess Jeepster wasn't in the listing.

Funny that my Dodge Dakota Quad-Cab pickup "had to be" titled as a 3/4-ton because the GVW was over 6000 lbs, and that made my plates $81 per year. My 3/4-ton Chevy Suburban has a GVW of 8800 lbs, but yet it's considered to be a "station wagon" and thus my plates are only $36 per year. Go figger.

It always seems to be a crap shoot with the DMV...

My Green CJ is listed as Grey on the title. I asked the nice lady at DMV if she thought the State would like to have it correct and she responded that she could change if for a fee. I said thanks but no thanks.
