stupid question(s)

    I'm 99% sure that it is in correctly...but I'm paranoid: what is the correct orientation for the thermostat?? I think that I may have air bubbles...any tips (other than drilling a hole in the thermostat) for getting any that might be there out? How much turbulence should I see when I have the cap off of the radiator and it is pretty full and the engine is warm? Thanks guys!

    pointy end toward the front......1/8" hole in flange of t-stat is the only way I've found to burp mine....lots of water movement when the t-stat opens up, HTH good luck
