I have a 1960 cj-5. It has a tool lid located on the passanger side cowl. Is this correct for this vintage Jeep? Or were some availabe without the tool lid? Thanks.

M38A1's had a battery box there. When they made the CJ5 the box lid stayed but it was not functional. I'm not sure what year it was eliminated but someone here will probably chime in.
