Tub is done. Had to put in new floor, supports & traverse ledge but the rest was pretty solid. The diamond plate body armour, floors & tool box lid I made myself from 1/8" DP. Paint is Rustoleum rattle can, Satin finish Sage Green. I just love working on this Jeep:) Ah... CJ5 not CJ6

Motor, trans & tranfer case back in frame R):) Won't be long now

Looks great. The sage color really looks good with the DP. Did you weld new floor pans in as well?

OK, here you go. The hardest part was the foot well bend as my sheet metal brake really isn’t meant for 1/8” aluminum

I was really very lucky. Had enough good metal around the transmission where the cover pieces bolt on & on the lower kick panels & foot wells. All I had to do was carefully cut out the bad metal, cut new 18 gauge pieces to then weld in. I then covered with sound deadening heat isolation & 1/8” aluminum diamond plate over that

Looks good! I like that color. If I could find a white soft top, I'd do that color and white steel wheels with baby moons...

are you refabbing the tranny cover??? If so please share this looks great. I cut out the underseat tool box and will be placing a second tank under seat. The diamond plate is a great idea. Thanks for sharing The Kid
