I like it - nice to see original paint like that. The windshield if from a '76 or later ... important because it determines which top you can use.

Yes, It has an ACME hard top on it. I was wondering why the PO changed the windshield frame. Good observation on your part because I was looking for the oem frame so my windshield buckles would work. The wiper motor is located right where the driver side buckle is. I was thinking of doing a modification to the late model screw in type. or finding a 74 frame but my top would not fit, and up here in snow country the hard top is a good thing to have.

Nice Jeep. I like it a lot. I even like the dash. And I don't like non stock looking dash's.

I was quite impressed as well. I've been looking for one of these in stock condition since I was in high school, which was some time ago about 1983 to be exact. Although I would love to have had a mint original 76 LEVI edition, they are way to expensive for me now and likewise for a 17 year old kid when they were newer. It took about a month to talk the P.O down $700.00 to aquire this one.

LOL. No I didn't get it for $700.00. He wanted $3,800.00 for it and I got it for 3,100.

Here is another sad saga:cry: My 1957 3B now a baskit case, as she was two years ago. Its not for sale now. Looks good as she sits but the P.O. basically molded the tub from Bondo and upon further inspection the frame is bent. A rattle can resto. Now sitting on my Dads property waiting a full redo one day. :patriot:
