I pulled the heads on my 225 v6 oddfire because of a bad exhaust valve. The gaskets are all in good shape so I cleaned them up to reuse them. Is this ok or should I replace them all (head, intake, exhaust). If I can reuse them, should I use a sealant as they are only metal.

    thanks

Replace them. It only takes a slight deformation to cause leaks/problems. They aren't that expensive and it's certainly better than having to pull it apart again. Just my $.02.

Yes. The only time I'd reuse a head gasket is for a field repair. Or, if money is so tight that the cost of the gaskets means the difference between driving and walking.

nah - at 75$ for a set it isn't a big deal, but I prefer to reuse whenever I can. Saves $$ and less waste.

yes but they compress a s you tourque the heads to spec, one time use unless it means the difference between walking or riding such as a field repair mentioned earlier
