New Project: '54/'74 CJ3B

I've always liked the looks of the 3B's and wanted to build one. Well I picked up my $25.00 E-Bay 1954 3B tub this morning! I've read about putting a 3B tub on an early CJ5 frame but I'm going to use my $20.00 E-Bay intermediate '74 CJ5 frame. The frame has 3.73 geared Dana 44/30's, 15? gallon fuel tank, Dana 20/T15 and V8 mounts and power steering. I have a close ratio T18 that I am going to use(left over from another E-Bay CJ5) and the $50.00 E-Bay 360. The tub needs a lot of attention but I have been inspired by the resurrection of some of the other tubs on this forum! I still need to pick up a grille,hood,front fenders and windshield frame. I might be swapping some stump grinding for some parts so maybe soon I'll have what I need to start on it!

 

I have a no name tail gate and an intermediate steering column and roll bar that will be used. I also have in-frame and fenderwell headers that were thrown in with other E-Bay buys. Not sure on seats and radiator. I also plan to use the intermediate swing pedals and manual mastercylinder.
