Quick seat question

    Looking to replace the seats in my 74 cj5 with something new. the ones in there are camero seats on a custom seat mount so i lean way the hell back like im almost lying down. i found some OEM seat risers and just need to know if a 76 seat will fit in a 74. I know there maybe some customization to perform but there is no reason that they won't work is there?

    I have the low backs- love them...althought safety nazis love the high backs.

    The seat mounts themselves are obviously completely different from 75 and down/76 and up, because of the totally different floor configuration. I'm not sure, but I would suspect the seats themselves (lowback for lowback) would be very similar, if not the same.

    I would suspect it should work out, you'll just have to fab the seat mounts themselves.

    This is a topic that has been covered a lot, a search will bring you lots of info...
