Dana 44 Outer Oil Seals

    Just got a new pair of outer oil seals to replace the ones that were almost gone. My question is regarding the install of the new ones. The seal itself protrudes about 1/4" on one side in reference to the metal poriotn of the unit and I was wondering if the side that sticks out goes toward the diff. or the hub? Any info would be great.

    If it's like mine, the seal buldge goes towards hub. I don't think it would go on the other way
