    Very Cool! Just to add on the 8 3/4", The side gears and pinion gears from the Dana 44 30 spline Powerlock interchange with the 8 3/4" "Sure-Grip". The Sure grip is Mopar's version of the Powerlock..... Nickmil

    Well Im done for the day...the glass is out, dash out, headliner, pedals..pretty much everything except the gas tank, rear axle and trunk lid. Hopefully get that stuff off by the middle of the week so it can go to the sandblaster in a week or so...

    Good news is the donor car has a complete 8 3/4, not sure on the ratio in it. I took plenty of pics during the day so Frank will have to post them up when he gets a chance..

    doner car. Christopher has pulling this car around for about 5 years. he got it ff of e-bay. luckily this isn't the one we are working on. yep it's a burned up car. but as Jason has said we are going to pull parts off before it hits the crusher.

    man you guys are making quick work on the teardown :beer:.....my son's at the age (13) where he's dreaming about his own rig, had him squared away on a early Jeep build but he's seeing this and going...."ya know Dad that would be a cool cruizer" R)

    Day 4 of the tear down... Jason got the dash and the front bezel tore down, as i still had to do my real job.

    i don't know if we could handle ya'll R)

    back at it, well a little anyways. It's 100* outside and 110* inside the shop.

    got the doner axle apart and the gears will be changed. they are 2.76's

    had to use the heat on the front drivers side.

    batteries went bad so thats it for now.

    not much lately, the car is at the blaster still. little front end damage and she's gotta go on the stretcher.

    look at the other frame rail, you'll see the dimples.
