I've came across a 1973 Wagoneer. I would like to use the following parts to upgrade my 68 Jeepster: complete disc brake set up i.e. caliper brackets, calipers, rotors etc. (for the Dana 27) also the power steering box, pump and column and the rear 11" brake set up for the rear For the Dana 44). From what I have researched I believe most of the components will work. Does anyone have any experience with regards to my thoughts?

    Thanks

Pretty sure that '74 was the first year for disk brakes in a Wagoneer. Even if it has disks, the hubs will be six bolts on a 5" circle - if it has five bolts, it's not disks.

The 5-bolt 11" drum brakes will work though, if you want 11" drums all around.

JMO - not that much that's usable for a Jeepster on a '73 Wagoneer. However, they are pretty nice cars - why not buy it and drive it?

Steering box yes once you add the Saginaw frame mount, P/S pump no, steering column, yes but will take some fabrication.
D44 in a 68? Must have been previously swapped in if it is but I believe you will be able to switch just the backing plates on the rear to get 11" brakes, you'll need Commando rear drums, wheel cylinder etc, but all still available. Not sure what's involved in swapping out the D27 to disc brakes but the six lug rotors could be a problem. I lean towards the D30 front and swap out to CJ disc. Course that has it's own problems since you need to change the TC output yoke and change the front driveshaft.

I used a PS mount off a Wagoneer on my CJ, along with parts of the steering shaft mated to a GM column.
