Factory power brakes

    Did the 72-75 CJ5/6 have a factory power brake option? I have heard they had, but have never seen a factory set-up? Was it only available on certain engine combinations, etc?

    Yes, no engine restrictions AFAIK.

    My 1975 AMC Jeep factory service manual shows power brakes for the CJ. My 1975 CJ5 has power brakes and I too wondered if this was an available option.

    I bought a 304 CJ-5 in 1973 and a 258 CJ-6 in 1975, and both had power brakes.
