225/231 Intake Manifolds

After doing some research on this site and on the internet, i am still wondering if a 231 EF intake manifold will fit on a 225 OF. I read here where it will with some welding and machining, and elsewhere where they won't interchange at all. The reason i ask is because i recently scored a turbo setup off a '79 Buick Riviera and was hoping to use the original manifold. Otherwise i would be using an Offy intake and running the turbo through the top of the carb.
If any body has gotten an EF intake to work and has pictures of the work done to make it work, i would love to see them. I'll try to get pictures of the turbo setup tomorrow to help better explain what i am trying to do.
