Question for those of you running the Wildwood hydraulic cylinder. two things How much travel should I be getting on the pull cylinder? I seem to be only getting about 1/2". second my pedal doesent go all the way to the floor like in my TJ. It stops after only moving the slave about a 1/2". I know several of you are running with this set up, what am I missing?

I want to say that I get a bit more than that but it has been awhile since I did the install. Mine will go to the floor. I have a wilwood pedal w/master cylinder and the slave.

I am using a YJ/XJ master and a Wilwood slave. I get just over 1" at the slave if you include freeplay.

My first thought is mechanical leverage of the pedal; where do you have the rod connected? I found that it makes quite a bit of difference as to where the pedal sits at static. Might adjust it or make a little tab for the rod like I did to my XJ/YJ pedal. Note the stock position of the rod on bottom and the modified position on top. This 1-1/4" made all the difference for my particular application:

    Are the pedals adjustable?

There are a couple different masters. Which bore did you order? Maybe a mismatched master/slave?

Are you sure you got all the air out of the system? I get almost an inch of travel on mine. I'm using Wilwood dual MS with Advance Adapter pedals and bracket.

Years ago when I did this mod.. I got the 7:1 wilwood clutch pedal, the small master cylinder and the slave cylinder from wilwood. After reading what you have wrote.. 2 things came up in my mind what the problem could be.. first.. the master cylinder rod that hooks to the pedal needs to be adjusted so the pedal will go all the way to the floor. 2nd.. are you using the stock clutch fork ? I added a extension to my clutch fork so it is longer.. and this requires more movement of the slave cylinder to engage / disengage the clutch. Perhaps you are hooking the slave to the short fork and it is fully engaged with only 1/2" movement and that stops your clutch pedal from moving all the way down ?
