Any detectives out there in the Seattle area?
About a week ago, a CJ5 was parked in front of the dog park at 28th Ave W and W Grover St.
I checked it out. It is a Tuxedo Park, body is in really nice condition with light surface rust.
It has a metal cab with more severe surface rust. I don't spot any rust through.
It has the column shift and most of the chrome bits. I don't know anything else about it.

The license tabs are 2005, so as soon as somebody complains, it's going to be impounded and then auctioned off.

The only non-stock stuff that I can see are the wheels. It's got a couple of white spokes and a couple of chrome rims.

If you were a good detective, you might be able to find out who put it there, or else find out where and when the tow company will put it up.

I can maybe take pics if anyone is serious about this.

I'd take picts of it, and see if the plates or vin is public information.

The other thing you can do is to write up a note and put it in a ziplock bag and tape it to the inside of the windshield.

At least someone that tows it will have a contact for someone that wants it.

But yes, I'd go ahead and start trying to find out who ownes it.
