I went to buy normal shocks for the Willy's at FLAPS but their app. only fit 5 or 6 leaf springs. Mine has 8 leaf packs at all four corners with rubber bushings with a slight arch. So my question is, order some with one 1" lift through Summit racing and gues if they will work or buy FLAPS?
Tell me what brand you are running and if you like them, the Willy's will be driven short distances on road and a lot off road trails and mud.

I have the blue colored stock replacements. They and the orig springs were on it when I got it. I replaced the springs with the Rancho 0"-1" lift and kept the shocks. I like them fine but I'm not driving 50 mph over washboard either. My neighbor has the same "blue shocks" on his MB and has a lot more to worry about than shocks too ;) FYI, I run ~24 psi in BFG AT tires ... good footprint and really a pretty comfortable ride. I don't know who makes the shocks.

I took off the shocks and jacked my suspention to compress as much as possible(one wheel at a time) and measured the shock mounts. I also jacked it to obtain the maximum droop and measured that too. Then I went to the Monroe/Tennaco website and located shocks that would fit the dimentions that I measured and got the part numbers.I went to the local flaps with part numbers in hand and ordered them, got them the next day.Perfect fit.

Homebrew2, I also have the blue Monroe shocks that leak, I dont know they are heavy duty or OEM
OzFin, I may go that route, my spring packs only consist of 8 leaves

THis is the best way to get shocks. And you can get any shocks you want.
