I am rebuilding my 2g and when I cleaned up the jets they had a 54 stamped on one and a 49 stamped on the other I assume this is the jet size? i would think they should be the same size, correct? So I opened up my other 2g and those jets were both stamped 44. Anybody know what ones I should use? and should they both be the same?

I can't remember what size the factory ones were but yes they should both be the same. The number is the actual orifice size, in other words one marked 49 actually has a .049 hole in it.

You can get the jets here:
    Carb Engineering, (626) 795-3221

    Per Jims other page.
This is another good place to get parts for the 2G:
    http://www.vintagespeed.com/carbs.htm
The part number is R-49 ($11.50 per set) and then state the size you want.

Thanks Mike and Jim, I just found a guy on e-bay out of new york that stocks all sizes for $5.75 plus $1.50 shipping. I think Ill go with the factory size since my elevation here is about 7 feet R)
