    I have pic's coming . . .

My weldor could not make it this weekend so I worked on my anti-wrap bar. I was hoping to attach it to my skid plate but it looks like I'm going to have to do a bit of fab work. I'm trying to decide if I want to fab a whole separate cross member or try to change my skid plate . . .
It just turned out that the anti-wrap bar will be right at the point that the skid plate is bent. (I'll have to get a picture to be clear).

Finally got the weldor to come by last Thursday. Welded the spring perches, the brace for the anti-wrap bar and the spring hangers.

    I think he did a pretty good job . . .

I got up this morning headed straight for the garage :)

    Got the axles painted . . .

Installed the gas tank . . . took the tank out again (I wanted the nut end of my shackle bolts on the tank side but with the wider springs there wasn't room so I had to remove the tank to get the bolts through the rear spring hanger . . . I may have to do something about that in the future . . . )

And all too soon my Sunday came to an end! I'd hoped to get both axles on and my drive shafts installed . . .

The fuel lines in my Jeep have been replaced (big surprise) with a rather flimsy plastic tube.

Anyone know what diameter hard lines were used for the V8's ?(I have a 360)

Thanks, It's been a slow process, but like a lot of the people here, my garage time is limited by the rest of my life.

Let's see . . . Now i just need to bend up some brake and fuel lines, find some E-brake cables and fab up a place for the cables to come together, fab up and weld on some shock mounts (I'm going to try welding them myself), finish some floor issues (from the trans swap), get new TRE's and make sure my steering is working . . .

Busy weekend with the 4th holiday and all . . .
I did tear down one of the rear brakes to remove the old E-brake cable and make sure the Lokar cables would match. See here.

I also got one side of my rear brake tubes bent up and flared. Working w/ stainless is lots more challenging than the softer steel tubes I practiced with but I think my first tube turned out OK.

    Aloha,
Would you happen to have the dimensions for the hangers? How thick was the front hanger material? Looks thin, 3-16" or 1/4"
Diameter of the tube used for the rear hanger? Is this set up to use factory bushings or aftermarket?
    Mahalo!
