Power Steering pumps?

    What year did they start using the o-ring seals on the power steering lines? When I get off work I'm going to buy me a pump. Installing power steering next week I hope! I have everything but the pump.

    Hi Guys

    I have a 1974 cj and I am looking to convert it too power steering can you tell me what parts I will need and from which model of jeep ?:?

    The problem I have is I live in Scotland so jeeps are a bit sparce so need too locate all the parts exactly as I cant just pop too the junk yard and try out a part.

    It depends on which engine you have. I am currently installing power steering on my 72 CJ5 with a 258 so if you have a 6 cyl. I can tell you everything you will need.
