air shocks

    was wondering how the driveability on the road is if anyone knows. planning to link the rear of my 5 and was debating using my air shocks. they are going on the 5 or my buggy thats about to get started.

    air shocks are fine if you have alot of weight (like a snowplow, or a trailer). other wise a rough ride.

    i would think airbags, or coils would be better on a multi link setup.

    when i say air shocks i dont mean like the old style thats like a standard shock and then you add air i mean like a air shock like this. Like on a rock buggy i was wondering if any of you have run them on the road?

    You are going to need to run some sort of anti sway bar. Buddy has them on his Sami and his was undriveable on the street until he installed one. Does ok now but still a fair amount of body lean. I think he got his from Speedway Motors. Nickmil

    i was guessing that i would have to run a sway bar. Nick how stable is it? like still a lot of body roll? i was just thinking about it idk if ill do it but im spring over and was thinking about liking the rear with them and see how they worked. idk leafs are simple and cheap to use. i prob. just think to much, always bigger and better...
