D-18 Endplay Help

    I am adjusting my end play on my d-18 and have a total thickness of shim pack is .110 and still have no end play. This is after a total rebuild. Can anyone let me know what shim pack thickness was used to achieve a .004-.006 final end play.

    There is no set shim thickness, it depends on the case and how its machined along with the parts and bearings. Make sure you torque the yokes down before measuring end play. It may take several times to get it right.
