    73 lowback oem seats& brkts

    i replaced the original lowback seats out of my 73 cj5, after seeing on e-bay the drivers side bracket is going for over 100 dollars, im wondering how much the 2 seats very good condition and both oem brackets are worth, any ideas?

    At least $100? ;)

    No telling for sure until you put them up on eBay.

    I sold a set of recently recovered original seats from my '64 and
    got ~$200 for them, IIRC. Shipping is a killer on seats.

    I'm replacing my low-backs (I am "original owner of my CJ-5) for a new set of Corbeau leather seats. These Corbeau are suppose to sit good on my original brackets, am especially worried about the original drivers side (under seat) fuel tank. I don't want to remove the original seat brackets or the fuel tank. Have added the rear upgrade fuel tank for extra petrol on long hauls up into Rockies and Smokies as well.

    Has anyone had any installation woes with Corbeau seats? Going with Black leather and mid-high back. Also adding new.... five (5) point harness on both fronts, as well as two (2) five (5) point harness on rear bench as additional safety point for kids.

    Would appreciate any feedback.... also, not sure if I will store my original low-backs or sell on eBay or whatever (both bucket low-back.... are in original shape, cream color with no cracks or tears in vinyl).
