brake lights?

    I'm having some issue's with my brake lights. They don't work. I tried to follow the brake pedal and related linkage to see where the electrical ties in and could'nt find it, any advise or sugestions?

    You've gotta throw us a bone if you want help. Can you tell us what year & model of Jeep for starters, and what, if anything has been modified and how?

    I'd guess it's a '57 CJ-5.

    Pretty sure the brake light switch is hydraulic and mounted on the master cylinder. Have you tested the brake light switch? There are wiring diagrams in the tech section.

    I second the brake light switch like timgr said. Trace out your brake line's, on my 71 I have one on the frame on the drivers side by the fender, and a second under the middle of the jeep it self.
