In everyone's opinion is one brand of rebuild kit from parts stores like Napa or Auotzone better quality than another? Now that the weather is starting to break it's time to get to work.
Is the stock camshaft the best choice for gas mileage and performance.I am also going to have the heads done can I go up in rocker ratio or are roller rockers available.if i'm going to spend the cash to rebuild it I might as well get the best parts I can.The only parts I can locate as far as performance is for the small blocks.

Any recommendations would be appreciated,Thanks Chris

The most cost effective master kit can be found at Autozone IIRC. It's from Hi-Tech and used to be around $350. I think several folks have reported good luck with it.

TA Performance has high performance parts for 231 engines, I'm not sure what will interchange with the 225, but I would think there are some ,also Novaks has info on these engines.
