WS Center divider substitute

    OK, got a vented ws I'm working on. It's got a center divider in the glass. But it's rusty. Real rusty. Kinda beyone repair. I need a new center divider. Can't find one.

    Has anyone replced the center divider with something else? I thought about some simple "H" chanel but I dont' think that will work well.

    Where did you guys get one if you needed to replace yours?


    Open to any suggestions here. Thanks........

    Danstew, that is one nice windshield. Did you rebuild it? If so, kudos my man. Hope mine comes out that good.

    Was the rear view mirror one of the 3 screw types or did it attach to the center divider on a peg?

    If the photo linked, see how mine is? Can't find anything like it.

    I've also looked at some early 2a divided windshield's today. They look like mine. The M38a1 I looked at did not have a metal part. It was strictly a rubber "H" strip down the middle. Maybe Belivisay would chime in here with some picts of the mirror mount.

    Unfrotuantely i didnt restore that one, i did buy it BUT sucks to be me, i boguht it after i added my roll cage and the frame would not work with my front hoop. So Billy got it from me. It was such in good shape, but seeing how it was made it really is just a factory windshild frame with an added inner frame and CJ2A pivots and such.
