    Greg - a 360/T18/D20 is what we are putting in the Blue '73 at my house. We pulled the 304/T400/D20 out and I have a spare good 304 block in the shop.

    Nice I had totally forgot about that one you guys were working on..
    Assuming that this deal gos as planned ill rock that drivetrain untill it craps out, but ill definately keep that in mind.
    I forget was the 304 locked up?

    I welcome all the weak and broken jeeps with open arms :) hehehehe I got my commando back after a buddy rolled it. Unfortunately it literally was buried in the beach sand from a hurricane and was really too much for me to do anything with. Actually i could have made it work but the tub was heavily dented at the driver side cowl area and was too dented to bang out and make the doors ever line up again :(

    I was driving mine Saturday, and the door flew open when a made a right turn! Lucky for me I had my seatbelt on. Door latch was frozen up- sprayed some penetrating fluid on it, and it's working again for now....
