Part Question.

    I've been working w/ a friend re assembling his '67 CJ5. It's been in pieces for 14 years. And as
    usual we have some parts that we can't ID. Here is a pic of some type of a shield. We aren't
    sure what it is and where it goes. Any ideas???

    Heat sheild for mastercylinder or fuel pump. Actually I can't remember, I have a few of those3 my self:rofl: I'll go look on the 67.

    Yup, its a splash shield for the crank pulley. For some reason it doesn't show up in the civvy parts manual or FSM at all even though they came on CJs but there is a pic with it in the military parts manual-

    ahh yes that's it. I found one out in the garage it just attached to anything. Mine was off a canadian cj5 also

    I think some deranged person drew Howards' picture. The drain plug is in the wrong place. :)

    Howards, that's where my drain plug is, driver side on the side, not bottom...
