Year of My Jeep

    I recently bought a Jeep but the title was lost by the seller-The Serial Number is 8705 F17 21780- and it says Kaiser Jeep Corporation - Toledo OH. How can I find out the year of my jeep and what is the exact model? I appreciate anyone's help!

    I don't know how accurate those charts are, but according to the serial number range, it's got mine listed as a 1961, but when I bought it, it was titled as a 1964.

    How accurate what charts are? The VIN document here?

    I have the utmost confidence in them. The older numbers came from Kaiser-Willys documents, later numbers are pieced together by folks who had the manufacture date on the dash and whatnot. :beer:
