on board air with york

    Is it possible to use the york compressor with the 225 Buick are there mounts available or does anyone have measurements to make one Thanks

    Yes it is possible and yes there are mounts available as Jeepsters came with Dealer installed A/C. They occasionally come up on ebay but not too often. Hopefully someone can post up some measurements or has a set they'll sell. Maybe post a wanted ad here or over at the JCCA.

    must not be what i am thinking of, the one i am thinking of was either a v twin,or v quad cylinder air compressor from a service truck that had been fitted to the v6:coffee:

    Theres a Commando on Ebay right now with air installed,
    noticed it myself.
    Compressor is on top and alt. is moved down below it.

    Have it on my jeepster. Originally had compressor and generator on same bracket comp on top. Have seen buick 231 v6 a/c brackets made to work. Sorry no pics, tore it apart to replace manifold and haven't put back together yet.

    I assumed it would but didn't know if it had to be located in a different spot or laid on it's side or if their is anything wierd about it.

    Check out Kilby's site. I'm new to older Jeeps but they have all kinds of stuff for newer Jeeps (and a ton of other vehicles). The link below looks like it has some parts that you may need; it's for the whole kit (which is pricey) but you can order the parts seperately.
