CJ Metal door restoration

    Anyone have any exp taking the doors apart? Looks like mine have permanent rivits that would need to be replaced after disasembly?

    What have you found to be the best way to take them apart? I tried a search here and google and haven't found any info of value.

    I took mine apart. just drilled out the pop rivets. Used 3/16" steel pop rives to put back together, Used diferant lengthes.The hinge bolts I repalced with stainless steel bolts and lock nuts.
    The window channel got from restoration specialitys.

    interesting thread, havent looked at my doors closely, i need to take the passanger side apart, window regulator is non existant in that door, looks like some used in kenworth trucks, the older models that is
