Yea.. not a lot gets done when I'm not around. But I have a couple months off so I have plenty of time to get it going again.

Cool - tell your dad I might need some special work on a pistol or two - we might be able to barter some help for him if he needs it on the jeep :)

Got all the rot cut out.

    New plate welded in..

And save some finish welding and grinding the driver side is pretty much done.
Their were two plates sandwiching the original sheet metal, or what was left of it. So we used the bigger bottom plate, and fixed some problem areas.

Thank you sir. Its not so bad, you should see the donor tub. I don't want anything to do with that!
I have about 11 hours in it as it sits. Hoping to have it wrapped up in about 25hrs.

The tail gate sill was pretty wavy and had some holes in it so I replaced it with the dark blue one, much nicer over all..

that tub is beginning to look healthy...

i guess that taillight panel is a common area for rust to attack. i did the exact same patch on my tub.

Lookin' good. I like your rear tail light patches.

Say, while you've got that tub exposed, would you mind taking some photos of the floor pans? Looking for an angle roughly standing in the bed looking straight down from the floor riser up to the firewall. Trying to figure out the tranny tunnel geometry. I'm basically one step behind you on a very similar project. TIA.
