factory weight (gvwr) 1973 cj5

hi all,
i have looked all over online for quite a while, and wondering if someone can point me in a direction i have not checked yet.

i am trying to figure out about what my jeep weighs (without taking it to the scales...). i was looking for a factory weight rating, then trying to decide with the extras on it, about what it weighs now.

she is a 1973 cj5 renegade. amc 304. pretty stripped down, just the basics to get me around. no top, doors, winshield... some added weight may come from the t-5 tranny (which is actually pretty small, may not add weight?), and a dana 300 t-case.

does anybody know about what these weigh? or at least what a factory weight is on it?
i appreciate the help.

3200lbs, give or take a hundred

 

My 73 CJ5 with a 360, no top, and light aluminum wheels with paddle tires out back and a sand tires in front (also light) rolls over a four pad scale at 2,979. Sounds a lot like yours...pretty basic aside from what I need. So 3000 pounds would definitely be in the ballpark of what you're driving.
