t15 to dana 300

    will a dana 300 from a 1980 cj7 bolt to a t15 out of a 75 cj5?
    what kind of problems will i run into?im not sure if the input/output shafts are the same spline?
    any info would be greatly appreciated

    No, they are a different pattern - totally diffferent. The only practical way to mate a T-15 and a D300 is by finding the scarce and expensive manual transmission Scout D300 with a "Texas" pattern.

    crap.do they make a lower ratio gearset for the dana 20??

    Yep. You can swap in some different gears from a Dana 18 and a early Bronco Dana 20 and end up with 2.46 to 1 for about 3 bills. For 6 bills, or so, you can buy a TeraLow kit and go to 3.15 to 1.

    I've got the tera-low in mine. Excellent upgrade. total cost with installation was about $800 with my local club discount.
