I am brand new to world of Jeeps. Just got rid of the full-size Blazer for a 78 CJ5. Question is.... There are lift shackles on it, 2" I think. The steering is very darty and it doesn't want to center back up after a turn. I know the shackles have changed my castor angle. How can I correct this? Should I remove the shackles? I'm running 32" tires and don't want to go smaller, so I will need some kind of lift without breaking the bank. Thanks in advance for any insight.:?

Caster shims is one way. They are a wedge that goes between your axle and the spring...you want it to tilt the pinion downward (positive caster)...It will make all the difference in the world.
