Rear Winch Bumper

    looks like a good design too

    I'd steal it but i don't think it'd work with my tail gate :)

    Thanks guys! If I were to build one again(and I will) I'll use 2" x 6" tubing instead of the 2"x 6" channle steel.I think I could have built the brackets lower so the winch would clear a tailgate.When I get around to building one on my CJ7 project I'll build it so I can use the tailgate.I am really happy with the Cole Hersee solenoids(1 for the rear winch and 1 for the front) that I used. http://www.colehersee.com/catalog_top/index.htm They are mounted inside the Jeep in the shifter cover and I wired the winch control plug ins inside also.I used 2/0 cable for the heavy wiring and heat shrink tubing on the connections.Currently I am running a single yellow top Optima but I have the Painless waterproof dual battery wiring kit and I am going to build a battery tray for dual yellow top Optimas.
