Has anyone tried any of the bikini tops available with the original front top bow? I have no roll bar, but from the pictures I have found, it looks like the roll bar lines up pretty close to the original bow. Any thoughts?

I did something like that a couple years ago. I had a rollbar on one jeep and not on the other. I used some 3/4" electrical conduit I think and got a couple of 90* elbows. Worked ok. couldn't get it too tight because the conduit wanted to be pulled forward, but it worked good enough for the few times I actually needed to use it.

What type bikini top? One that fit the rollbar? And the conduit frame you made, did it attach onto the body the same as the original bow? I have a piece of wood (looks original) that bolts on bow and runs to the windshield...so tightening wouldn't be a problem...thanks....

I sure wouldn't like riding in a Jeep without at least a factory roll bar. If you weren't all the way across the country, I'd give you an extra one that I have.

Well, I figure it's kinda like driving a motorcycle, but alot slower. When I go off road it's mostly mud and low crawl. Thanks for the offer...I wouldn't mind putting a bar in, just haven't found one...

If you use the round braces that goes from the main bow to the windshield, the bow would'nt move forward. I would think that would work fine with a bikini top.

yea, I used the factory bow mounts just behind/next to the front seat backs. I just used the conduit looped up and over from side to side. Normal rollbar bikini top. Guess you could come up with something to tie the windshield into the conduit "roll bar"
