d44 minispool

    i just put a minispool in the rear of my jeep,,and when i originally put it back together it seemed to be binding pretty bad. i had to cut about an eighth of an inch off of bothe axle shafts.
    does this sound right to you guys??:?

    I'd say something is wrong if your cutting axles to make it fit...But I've never used a minispool.
    I have heard they are not as strong as a good welded carrier, and they get sloppy when the wear out, tho...

    Is this in the '75 or the '80?

    Yeah...something is haywire. I wonder if you got the wrong one for your application?

    And yes...I know it's 3:45 am...I don't sleep much.
