225 timing chain

    Just curious, I have been looking for a replacement timing set for my :v6:, FLAPS asks: "is that with or without integral distributor gear".:?

    I'm gonna guess here and say that the later 231 came with an integral gear at some point.

    Without. There was no 225 with an integral gear.

    Odd-fire distributor gears are bolted onto the end of the cam.

    Oh, and even fire cams do have the integral gear.
