Hi everyone first post/some Q's

    Hey I have been checking out the site for a while(COOL SITE THANKS) and decided to post.
    I got a 70 Commando P/U a couple of months ago and it smoked and had no power from what I can tell someone bored the block to at least 10 over mabye more and put the stock pistons with some 10 over rings( one dot on the ring) so I would like to fix this engine and dont know where to start any advice.

    Next it has a spring over and want to get about 2.5 inches more lift and get rid of the saggy springs I know there is no ready made kits so what should iI look for?

    As far as body lifts go to get 1.5 inches of lift I need to get a 3" kit from a cj-5 and cut the blocks in half Correct?

    Search spring in this thread.
    Or Alcans.
    Lots of options.
    Need to decide what you going to use the Commando for.
    And what you can do yourself or pay to have done.
    Fill in all your info and list what you have done in your sig so its easier to give advice..
