mice nest in heater box / proper removal

    how far do i have to go to get the smell of mice crap out of my heater? thank you in advance.

    Great questions.

    I've been working on a Jeepster that has this same affliction over a year now. Winter time it's unbearable to drive. :(

    We dumped Pinesol in and drained it out, that helped, for a while. It's back with a vengeance now.

    I'm interested to hear suggestions as well.

    Simple. Move to SoCal so you don't have to use a heater. :D

    I hate mice smell!

    I mean, I hate mice odor!

    (If I say that first sentence outloud it is self incriminating!)

    We fight it out at the farm real hard... the only thing I have found that makes a dent is a bleach mix and preasure wash.

    A pet urine remover maybe. There are sprays, foams, etc. at pet stores and Wal Mart intended to remove smell from carpets and floors. In theory suppose to be good enough that pet doesn't smell it and re-hydrate. If the urine is really chemically bonded to the plastic though I'd have to say new heater box!
