Desperately seeking pictures of CJ 5 seat hardware. Putting together a 64 that came with no seats and no seat hardware. I haven't been able to find any seats to buy, so I'll try to make some. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

    Howdy from Holland MI...

Your '64 probably had seats with all the hardware as part of the seat - thats what came in my '64 CJ6. These were a coil-spung seat - I'm attaching some pics.

Somewhere between '64 and '66 they changed to seats where the seats had seat frames that were external to the seat. You can get a bit of a glimpse of the setup here - note that these are a foam-filled seat:

The advantage to the later model seats is that the passenger side folds and tumbles - the earlier version just pivoted forward but didn't get out of the way as much as the later ones.

That said - many guys have fabbed up their own seat mounts for the later style buckets out of 1" square tubing. I've had mine incorporated into the rollcage.
