Just received a NOS top for the old CJ's for close to half [new] price off eBay :)

Anybody with an old 'A1 or CJ have any specific, pointed tips ... other than the "usual" top install tips?

Depends on what your "NOS" top is, and who it's made by...

Ok, I see where I went wrong. It's a Supertop by Bestop. I noted "NOS" because it was advertised as ~7 years old but is still in the orig box and internal wrapping

Another job expertly completed, and for once, in decent time! And it never broke 60°F during install, and no alternate heat source was needed ... a bit o' brute force though :)

I can now see why many rave about the Supertop ... it is truely super in every respect.

Thanks to Granny for the tip but, I just used the instructions included with the top package ... seemed to work just fine. Based on those instructions, I implemented a couple of tricks prior to and during install ... and a couple of others were learned along the way :)
