What do I need? Commando Clip.

    To be Honest I have wanted to do the Commando front end swap on my CJ-5 since I first saw one done a few years ago. A local Jeeper has a Hood and Grill from a 1970 Commando that he would swap me straight across for my Sheet Metal, or sell it to me outright for $150. Is the hood and grill all I need, or is there more to it?

    Do parts just bolt on, or is there fabrication required. I saw my first one here and love it! I am looking for the parts to do the swap as well

    Pretty much bolt on. You will need to drill a couple of holes in the top of the fenders IIRC for the "wings" of the grill where the turn signals are. Nickmil

    I have my eye on a 1970 Jeepster. I was thinking of keeping my sheetmetal for that very reason. Too many potential projects, too little $.R)
