Pinion sleeves

    Does anyone know if the pinion sleeves for the D30 and the D44 are the same size? I've called around the local parts stores and one store says they are the same size and the others are kids that don't know anything if it doesn't come up on a computer screen. My pinion seals are staring to leak and I would like to have the sleeves on hand as I'll probably need them. This for a "74 CJ5 .

    I would say yes as the pinion seals themselves are all the same

    Yup, the same. The yoke dimensions and as Jpflat2a noted the seals are the same. That goes for Dana 25, 27, 30, and 44 (Jeep) yokes, all the same. That same sleeve will also work on Dana 18, 20, and 300 transfer case yokes. Nickmil
