Im having the problem of trying to fire up my jeep but I no spark
I think Ive put the ground wire from the coil in wrong cause Ive tried 2 different coils 2 diferent sets of leads replaced the plugs and all the dizzy internals and cap but no spark
Ive seen on the 3B website it says to hook it up to the dizzy but there are no details into were to put it and of all the photos no ones showing it

Heres a photo of the dizzy
    [IMG]
Theres a screw on the top and bottom and the bottom screw has a wire running into the dizzy

(-) wire goes to the screw that connects to the points inside the dist.

I've not seen one like that so I won't be more specific but hope that helps some.

In your original picture you say the wire hooked to the bottom screw runs into the distributor. Is that the wire from the coil? If so that needs to be hooked to the wire the points and condensor are hooked to. In the new picture you have another wire running from the outside to the bottom screw also. What's that for? I'm only assuming that's a regular distributor that only looks different than the ones we're used to here.

Where are you checking for spark at? Are you checking across the points or at a spark plug?

    I now have spark
I had to ground the wire to the points
there is an isolator between the points and condesor and i had the coil on the wrong side of the isolator
I had it coughing last night so should be running soon
